Peter Larbi-Yeboa - General Manager

Mr Larbi-Yeboa was appointed General Manager of HFC Investments in March 2011. He joined the HFC Group in 2003 and has held a number of key leadership roles in Corporate Banking, Branch Banking and Mortgage Financing. Prior to assuming his current position, Peter had since 2006 been the Head of Treasury of HFC Bank. He has a depth of experience in the debt and capital markets having been involved and led several bond issuance programmes for the Bank; and successfully managed risk with cross currency swap transactions under ISDA agreements.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics with Honours from the University of Lincoln, and a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Nottingham (UK). Peter sits on the Board of HFC Investments as an Executive Director. Currently, he is also a Non-executive Director of HFC Brokerage Services Ltd, and a member of the Board of Directors of Kubekro Development Company Ltd.

Genevieve Naayi Abban - Deputy General Manager

Genevieve joined HFC Investments in April 2006 as a Fund Manager.  She is currently the Deputy General Manager after serving as the Head of Asset Management, managing a portfolio of over GH¢ 100 million. Prior to joining HFC Investments, she had over 12 years experience in the private sector, including serving as a Finance Manager. Genevieve holds an Executive MBA in Finance and a B.Sc. Administration (Accounting), both from the University of Ghana Business School.

Edwin Gyamfi - Head, Asset Management

Edwin Gyamfi is the Head of the Asset Management Department of HFC Investments, subsequent to serving as a Portfolio Manager in the same department. Prior to joining the company in 2007; he had worked with The Teachers’ Fund as an officer in the operations department. He holds a B.Sc. Administration (Banking and Finance option) from the University of Ghana and completed the GSE Securities Industry Course. He holds an MBA from Wisconsin International University College and is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Investment Representative.

Divine Stanley Agbola -  Head, Managed Funds

Preceding his appointment as Head of the Managed Funds Department, Divine was a fund manager at the Asset Management Department at HFC Investments. Before joining HFC Investments, he was the Senior Financial Analyst at Emos Consultancy Ltd where he specialised in financial valuation and project finance. He holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Glasgow, UK and B.Sc. Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana. In addition, he holds an Investment Representative License by Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana.

Kristine Awurabena Lartey - Head, Legal and Compliance

Kristine joined HFC Investments as Head of Legal and Compliance, and Company Secretary in February 2006.  She holds a first Degree in English from the University of Ghana and Barrister of Law Degree (BL) from Ghana School of Law; and is a Barrister and a Solicitor by profession.

Kristine also functioned as the Head of the Legal Department of HFC Bank, and is presently the Head of the Custodial Services Department of HFC Bank which was set up in line with the Pension reforms. She currently has responsibility for both the Custody Services of HFC Bank and Legal and Compliance for HFC Investments.

Prior to joining HFC, she worked as the Administrative Manager and an Associate of Fugar & Co., a prominent law firm in Ghana. Kristine’s experience includes civil litigation particularly in the area of commercial and corporate law, preparation of legal opinions and due diligence reports, company secretarial practice, advices on company law matters, such as takeovers, mergers, corporate re-structuring, share sales and purchases, etc.

Emmanuel Martin Agyekum – CEO, HFC Brokerage

Emmanuel is the Head of HFC Brokerage Services, the wholly-owned subsidiary of HFC Investments. Prior to joining HFC Brokerage, he was the Head of Brokerage at Worldwide Securities Ltd. He also worked with Capital Alliance Company Ltd, Strategic African Securities Ltd and New World Renaissance Ltd as Associate, Financial Analyst, and Analyst respectively. Emmanuel Martin Agyekum holds an Executive MBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons.) from Andrews University (Michigan) USA. He is an Authorized Dealing Officer of the Ghana Stock Exchange and is licensed as both a Dealer Representative and Investments Advisor Representative.

Joel Quayson - Head of Accounts

Joel Quayson is currently the Head of Accounts in HFC Investments and has served in this capacity since August 2010. Prior to this appointment he worked as an Assistant Accountant at HFC Realty Limited for four years. He holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce (First Class Honors) from University of Cape Coast. Joel’s expertise spans Corporate Financial Reporting, Corporate Taxation & Planning, Budgetary Control and Financial planning. Mr. Quayson is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana). Joel is currently an MBA (Finance) student at GIMPA.

Philip Odetsi Martey – Head Human Resource and Administration

Philip Odetsi-Martey joined HFC Bank (Ghana) Ltd. in 1995 as the Executive Assistant to the first Managing Director of the Bank. Mr. Martey is a professional Administrator and has been a member of the Institute of Business Administration since June 2000. Philip is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) with over a decade of experience of successfully providing administrative support to Executive Directors and Senior Management in business and financial institutions including Deloitte & Touché.

Mr. Martey served as the Head of Admin & HR for HFC Investments from 2005 -2006 and then proceeded to Head the Administration Department of HFC Bank had already worked there as Head of Admin. Philip is currently responsible for HR and Admin. for both HFC- Investments and HFC-Realty Ltd. He holds B.A (Sec) Dip. Ed. from the University of Cape Coast and an Executive MBA from GIMPA.
